Nova Scotia Occupations In Demand

Jobs That Are in Demand The goal of Pilot of Nova Scotia is to fill the many open intermediate-skilled positions in the province. Originally, it was intended for nurses, orderlies, patient service associates, and transport truck drivers. The targeted professions change according to the needs of the job market. The National Occupational Classification’s NOC C level jobs are the only focus of this stream.

The Nova Scotia Physician category helps the province’s Public Health System appoint General Practitioners, Family Physicians, and Specialist Physicians. Approved and documented chance to work as a NOC 3112 family physician and general practitioner or NOC 3111 specialist physician with the Izaak Walton Killam Health Centre or NSHA – Nova Scotia Health Authority.

Nova Scotia Entrepreneur

The Nova Scotia Entrepreneur category is intended for applicants with a background in senior management or company ownership. They have to be Nova Scotian citizens, purchase an already-existing company or launch a brand-new venture, and actively take part in the day-to-day management of that company.

Under the Entrepreneur stream, candidates are initially granted a Provisional Work Visa. After a year of business operation, they are eligible to apply for Permanent Residence. Candidates from a pool are invited to apply by the stream using the EOI, or Expression of Interest, procedure.

Similar to the Entrepreneur category, the Overseas Graduate Entrepreneur category in Nova Scotia is exclusively for recent graduates of Community Colleges or Universities in the province.
